What's For Lunch?

I'm so bored with my usual lunch: turkey and cheese on a whole wheat wrap. So boring. I'm trying to branch out and add new lunch and dinner recipes to my "repertoire" (if you want to call it that...) So today I tried Dijon Chicken Salad on a whole grain pita. It was good! Here's the recipe:

2 (10 oz.) cans chicken
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup halved seedless green grapes
1 cup halved seedless red grapes
1/4 cup dried cranberries
2 tsp. dried chives
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. dijon mustard
3/4 mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

Mix together the chicken, celery, grapes, cranberries and chives in a bowl. Whisk together the honey, mustard, mayo, salt and pepper. Add the mustard mixture to the chicken mixture, stir to coat.

Its like tuna...only with chicken. I've had it in salad before. It's not as gross as it sounds.

I don't think Chris has spent much time in the tuna fish aisle at the grocery store...

not really, but I am the grocery shopper in our household. I actually like grocery shopping for the most part.

Why is it that most guys like grocery shopping so much, and every woman I know detests it?

Hmm...

Yes, this is curious. Ben LOVES grocery shopping. I hate it with a passion. Ben easily spends at least an hour and a half there every time he goes.

my wife, andrea, hates it too!
