My aunt Mary-Ann (H.T.'s sister-in-law) has written another book, this time co-authored by her son (my cousin) Jere. The book is titled
Dirty Water: A Red Sox Mystery and can be
pre-ordered through Barnes & Noble.
Mary-Ann Tirone Smith has written many other works of fiction, including An American Killing, Love Her Madly and The Book of Phoebe. She also received great acclaim for her memoir, Girls of Tender Age.

Have you started reading it yet? Mary-Ann sent Joan C. a copy and she loved the book, too.
I haven't. I want to finish Middlesex first, then I'll start Dirty Water. I know some of my high school girlfriends remember me talking about Mary-Ann, so I wanted to share the info with them.
Thanks for the shout-out, Mel!
(Kim read Middlesex and I think she really liked it.)
Anytime, Jere. It'll cost you, but I was happy to do it.
Thanks for the info, Mel. I'd love to read it.
Mel- that's so cool that you have a published writer in your family. I, too, would love to read it.
I did enjoy Middlesex too.
